Maike Neunast also attended various master classes with Leonardo De Lisi, Götz Alsmann and Susan Anthony, among others, and was a scholarship holder at the Holzhauser Musiktage in 2012 and 2013.

 

In addition to classical singing, Maike Neunast can also be heard in various bands, she sang in the Latin combo and the jazz ensemble of the Münster University of Music and performed with her 50s band "Bärbel und die swingenden Spitzbuben".

 

Maike Neunast is also at home in other areas, in November 2015 she hosted the Mensch Musik Festival in Münster alongside Götz Alsmann.

 

In 2018 the soprano made her debut in the role of Zerlina in Mozart's Don Giovanni at the Bergischer Löwe Theater in Bergisch Gladbach.

Maike Neunast, born in Krefeld in 1989, gained her first vocal experience in various choirs. She has enjoyed classical singing lessons since childhood.

In 2008 she began her vocal pedagogy studies with Susanne Kelling at the Cologne University of Music and Dance and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Music in Education.

From 2013 to 2016 Maike Neunast studied classical singing with Birgit Breidenbach at the Musikhochschule Münster, where she graduated as a Bachelor of Music.

During her studies she sang as a soloist and in choir at numerous university events, including the role of Barbarin in Martin Brennes' cabaret Kulturschock. She also gives recitals, for example in the Hamburg Opera Loft, and sang as a soloist with the European Chamber Choir in the Cologne Philharmonic.
